Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster sessions are new for the 2025 AOM Annual Meeting. Poster presentations are scheduled in high-visibility areas of the conference with visual format for sharing research and ideas, as well as for networking with multiple attendees and presenters at the conference.
1. Your Presentation
In each of our six Networking Hubs, there are two poster cubes with a total of eight poster walls. Each wall is labeled to match the session scheduling details in the program.
Each poster wall is width 956mm x height 2400mm (width 3.1 feet x height 7.9 feet).
Gather Materials
Recommended Software: Microsoft PowerPoint
File Extensions: If your Mac software does not append the file extension, be sure to include it in your filename before you upload it (see “Share Your Presentation” below). Use .ppt or .pptx for PowerPoint files.
- PowerPoint templates are available.
Images, drawings, and graphics can be obtained from sources such as digital cameras, scanners, and the internet. Experiment with different formats and compression levels to see what works best for your images.
Assemble Your Presentation
Presenters need to bring their own printed presentation. There is no on-site printing at the Bella Center. The closest printing location is about 10-15 minutes away at the Crowne Plaza.

Share Your Presentation
Primary submitters (corresponding authors) are encouraged to share their poster presentations prior to the conference by using the “Manage Poster Presentation” action item them in the Submission Center.
Allowing access to your poster presentation from the Online Program will add visibility to your presentation by allowing prospective session participants and attendees (but Meeting registrants only) to review your presentation prior to the session.
Access to your poster presentation(s) from the Online Program will be available through Friday, 31 October 2025. You may add or remove online access to your poster presentation(s). And through Wednesday, 6 August 2025 you may upload revisions of your poster presentation(s).
2. Presenting
Please arrive at your session at least 5-10 minutes before the session begins. This will allow time for AOM staff to help with attaching your poster or printouts to the poster wall. We will provide supplies for hanging. You will have one hour for your presentation.
When presenting, speak slowly and clearly. DO NOT read from the slide but explain it. Address the audience when you are speaking. Try not to look directly at your presentation. You might also want to involve the audience by asking questions. This is a great way to keep the audience interested in your work. Lastly, just try to relax and have fun.
3. Room Setup
Each Networking Hub is equipped with two poster cubes with a total of eight poster walls. You will be assigned to one poster wall.
Each poster wall is width 956mm x height 2400mm (width 3.1 feet x height 7.9 feet).

4. Schedule and Timing
Refer to the Annual Meeting program as to when and where your presentation is scheduled during the conference. Be sure to come early to your session to set up your presentation. Each poster presentation will be scheduled for one hour.
